Perfect for family holidays or that short break away, Blue Bay Camping and Caravan Park is centrally located to many of the features and attractions that the scenic Central Coast has to offer and provides the ideal base for exploring the wonders of The Entrance and surrounding areas.

OUR BEACHES

Blue Bay Beach is 350m or a short 4 minute walk from the park. Named after the calm blue water that graces its 250 metre long shoreline, it is perfect for families thanks to its gentle beach with small surf. A further 2 minute walk along the sand will bring you to patrolled Toowoon Bay Beach which also offers a children’s park and picnic area. The park is also just a short walk to The Entrance Ocean Baths and The Entrance Surf Life Saving Club.

THE ENTRANCE

The Entrance Town Centre is 1.3km or a 15 minute walk from the Park. It has an array of cafes,restaurants and places to eat, a great shopping hub with a variety of unique stores, and a cinema. The Foreshore is always buzzing with activity and a great place to entertain kids. Here you'll find Vera's Water Garden splash pool and play area as well as a variety of rides and amusements.. You'll also find the Pelican Feed here at 3.30pm daily where you can get up close with dozens of pelicans. The Entrance Market is held every Saturday and the area also hosts a variety of annual events including the Country Music Festival. in August and Chromefest in October.

FISHING

Considered one of Australia's best fishing spots! You can fish on the beach, in the channel, off Tuggerah Lake's numerous jetties or hire a boat from the co-op and go out in the open water. The bays attract bream and whiting, tailor, flathead, flounder, a salmon or two and a few prized jewfish. while the rocks are fished for luderick, blackfish and mulloway. It's also a popular spot for crabs and prawns in the summer months.

TOOWOON BAY

Toowoon Bay Town Centre is 800m or a short 8 minute walk from the park. It has a selection of restaurants, specialty stores and cafes, boasting some of the best coffee on the Central Coast. Toowoon Bay Gallery have a great range of unique giftware and glassware and there is also a corner grocery store and bottle shop. Swadling Park Reserve is great for a picnic or barbeque and has a brand new playground suited to all ages.

WALKING & BIKE RIDING

The Coast to Lake Scenic Walk follows the beach from The Entrance to Toowoon Bay, then across town and continues along Tuggerah Lake back to The Entrance.

The walk takes 1.5–3 hours to complete.

The Entrance Heritage Walk runs along the boardwalk on Marine Parade and The Entrance Road. It displays 75 signs and photos about the area's history and takes about 2 hopurs to complete.

Tuggerah Lakes Cycleway starts at The Entrance and follows the shores of Tuggerah Lake for 12km  through Long Jetty, finishing at Chittaway Bay or heads north across The Entrance Bridge for about 4km to Magenta.

CLUBS AND PUBS

Diggers @ The Entrance is 1.3km or a 17 minute walk. Overlooking Tuggerah Lakes, it is a big club with a variety of facilities including Feast Buffet, Coffee Plus, Bites Dining, The Pavillion Events Centre, Anytime Fitness, and Little Diggers Playland.

The Entrance Leagues Club is 5km or a 9 min drive. It is a big, modern sports club. Their restaurant, Bayside Brasserie, offer a classic bistro menu.

Shelly Beach Golf Club is 3km or a 6 minute drive. It is a premium 18-hole course.Their restaurant Aqua provides exceptional dining.

The Lakes Hotel is 1.4km or 18 min walk. It has a well priced menu and is always busy.

The Entrance Hotel is 1.9km or a 23 minute walk to the end of the Foreshore Promenade. It has breathtaking views of the channell and a more upmarket vibe.
